Microphones and their cables aren’t exactly space-saving. A mic stand removes these sounds and allows your voice to be picked up by the microphone. The rustle of paper, your hands accidentally knocking something, keyboard typing, PC’s fan, and even adjusting your position would be caught by the mic. If you leave your mic on the desktop when using it, it is bound to pick up noises. Investing in a desk mic stand will allow you to focus on your work, making sure the sound quality is even and free from external noises without having to readjust the mic every time you want to use it. If you use a mic frequently on your desktop but have never considered investing in a mic stand, here’s why you need to reconsider: When you are not busy worrying about the shivering microphone or your arms aching half the time, you can easily see why a microphone stand is a great investment to your setup. They are also a great tool to keep your desk clutter free even when you have a ton of equipment lying around. These top-rated desk stands will help you ensure that your microphone is not only positioned optimally for getting the best out of its recording capabilities, but also reduce the sound of vibrations coming through from your desk. A steady desk stand for microphones is one of those overlooked, but necessary investments. More importantly, it’s crucial that you get the most of the investment you’ve made in your gear. However, some investments are necessary especially, when they can help us further our career. I don't think his stuff is strong enough in its own without those lucky breaks to have earned him as much fame as he has.If you are trying to take a serious shot at becoming a professional streamer or content creator, it can be a tough pill to swallow when it comes to purchasing the necessary equipment for the first time. That being said, I don't for a second think he'd be as successful as he is if he didn't land some amazing non-stand up gigs. He's definitely not my favorite, but I think he definitely knows the game and he's certainly skilled enough to be a professional. I just thought he was some TV host douche, but his podcast changed my mind and I checked out some of his work. Honestly, just being a fan or a student of comedy qualifies him to do that.įor years I didn't even know he was a comic. It also makes him qualified to talk about the art and the industry with other comics. Joe's put in the work and done his stand up homework, so he has the chops and the knowledge that makes him a real comic even if he doesn't make you or me crack up. There are plenty of older comics who I don't find funny, but I can tell they are pros that just don't do it for me. It's extremely rare to be as good as the top guys for obvious reasons. Honestly, I think you can be a knowledgeable and seasoned comic without being insanely funny like some of them are. I find myself saying chill out joe your not that funny you just land in the grey area of so many things everyone has to like you and pretend your funny. He spends so much time talking about stand up, the art of it, the personality of "us stand ups"shit like that. The reason I wrote this because I find it exhausting when you listen to joe rogan on his podcast. To me his greatest talents are his work ethic, persistence, and intuition. He is like the good looking rich kid who everyone likes in high school. I think it's more admiration than talent. All of these things make people want to root for joe rogan, it makes people wish they knew joe and he was their friend. He has a particular combination of personality, good looks, traits, hobbies, view points, associations, career moves, politeness, and friends. I can understand why people like him and go to see him but I think it's for reasons outside of his comedic talent. He does make me laugh but I could name a tons of people id rather go see over him. I just don't see him as being a great stand up act or very funny for that matter. I love his podcast, I like his personality, and I think he is a good person. I want to start off by saying I like joe rogan.
